It features a dozen 20-minute TED Talk-like presentations covering timely topics on the financial implications of longevity and aging. Presenters include recognized thought leaders offering insights on long-term care, disability income, hybrid insurance products, Medicare, federal and state legislative and regulatory considerations, and more. Peak 65 refers to the period from 2024 to 2027 when an unprecedented number of Americans celebrate their 65th birthdays. For financial professionals, Peak 65 is a defining moment in clients’ financial lives, as for many it marks a major transition into retirement. The role of financial professionals is crucial in helping clients navigate complex issues such as limited and long-term care, healthcare costs and Medicare, disability income, Social Security, lifelong income needs, and estate planning.
